My First Juneathon

After reading about previous Juneathon efforts on various blogs while digging through archives I’ve decided to give it a go myself.

What is it?

“It’s a month of exercise. Running, cycling, walking, rowing, weights, whatever. Just do something every day in June.” – See Juneathon FAQ over at Jog Blog.

My Goal

To run every day in June and I’m also going to use this as a perfect opportunity to cut out the booze completely!

It’s going to be tough but I’m up for a summer challenge.


Just remembered it’s World Cup month! New personal rule: beer is allowed on England match days.

April 2010 Summary

My first month of running was April… it’s not gone too badly. No real problems apart from the numb feet (happened twice) – I think that was something to do with my calves being tight. Will have to see if it occurs again.
