My First Juneathon

After reading about previous Juneathon efforts on various blogs while digging through archives I’ve decided to give it a go myself.

What is it?

“It’s a month of exercise. Running, cycling, walking, rowing, weights, whatever. Just do something every day in June.” – See Juneathon FAQ over at Jog Blog.

My Goal

To run every day in June and I’m also going to use this as a perfect opportunity to cut out the booze completely!

It’s going to be tough but I’m up for a summer challenge.


Just remembered it’s World Cup month! New personal rule: beer is allowed on England match days.

    I’m well impressed! Tweaking the rules is all part of Juneathon – last year I included crown green bowling and (on a really poor day) a half mile return walk to the library carrying “very heavy books”. Good luck!
