The run tonight completed my first week of Juneathon. I’ve found it quite good fun so far - it’s good to have a challenge to run every day – keeps me motivated and if I’m ABLE to run then I can’t see myself missing a day.
Here are some stats from my first week:
Count: | 7 Activities |
Distance: | 16.77 mi |
Time: | 02:40:30 h:m:s |
Elevation Gain: | 546 ft |
Avg Speed: | 6.3 mph |
Calories: | 2,681 C |
Just to recap the goals I set myself for the Juneathon were to:
a) Run every day
Not been a problem so far although my legs are getting progressively achier after a run so I might have to do a couple of mile runs to give them a rest this week – I’ll see how I feel.
b) No alcohol! (* excluding England World Cup match days!)
Had a drink free weekend for the first time in what must be years… anyway… aside from the perfect “beer-garden weather” we had on Friday I’ve not been tempted! The World Cup kicks off on Friday with the first England game on Saturday so I’ll allow myself a couple of drinks.
All in all a good seven days – now looking forward to the next
