Juneathon Day 6 – Still going

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

2 miles tonight.

A late run tonight I didn’t leave the family Sunday get-together until half eight and then my Forerunner couldn’t find any satellites. It was as if it was telling me not to bother.  It got there eventually… ten minutes.

Juneathon Day 5 – Another three miles

Saturday, June 5th, 2010

Got a bit of a cough /sore throat coming on, annoyingly, so I thought I’d attempt another three miler which I managed without problem. Felt like I could go on a lot further tonight.. might have a stab at four miles late next week.

No doubt i’ll awaken tomorrow morning with the the bug in full force. Hope not though!

Juneathon Day 4… Feeling the heat!

Friday, June 4th, 2010

It’s hot! According to the MET office it’s around 25° C  here so finding that out before my run was making me a little nervous. I usually run later in the evening plus the fact that I was breaking in to a sweat walking from my car to the front door!

Anyhow, I gave it a go but struggled and could only manage a mile and a half.  Had to pause a couple of times.

I’m so so hungry now… my stomach is making noises I’ve never heard it make before!

No alcohol this evening… I said I wouldn’t so I’ll still by it even if it is the perfect weather for a cold beer :)

Juneathon Day 3… 2 miler this evening

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

I’ll keep this brief as I’ve been having a bit of computer trouble. I’ve have had to reinstall windows grrr.

Did another two miles this evening and below you will find the Garminy details.

Juneathon Day 2 – longest run so far

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

Well, it’s taken me a month and a half to finally reach three miles without having to cut the run short due to numb feet or my knee feeling like it’s sliding down the side of my leg!

Started off slower than usual as I wanted to take it a bit easier than usual… when I reached a turn in the road on the way back I decided to run an extra 0.5 to take the route to 3 miles.  Legs are feeling it a bit now so I’ll be running a shorter distance tomorrow.
